Upcoming at Grace

New Member Class – Sunday, March 25 after worship (or by appointment).  Sign up on the back table.  New members will be received on Palm Sunday, April 1.

First Communion Class – Wednesday, April 4 from 5:30 – 7:00 pm for students and parents.  At Grace we think children are typically ready to receive first communion instruction when they are in the first grade. Some parents choose to wait a bit and some choose to start a little earlier.  This is a fun class for students and their parents.  At Grace young people typically receive their first communion on Maundy-Thursday April 5 or Easter Sunday, April 8.  Sign up today!

An Invitation to the Community Life Committee – a meeting on Sunday, March 11 This is a fun committee to work with because our mission is to build a sense of community within the congregation.  That means we help people get to know each other and have some fun at church (fellowship type activities).  In the past we have sponsored Dine with Grace and Circles of Grace (small group activities) and game nights.  Our work is also sometimes educational, worshipful, and mission minded.  What will we do next?  You can help decide.  Pastor will be leading the work of this committee during 2012.  See you on March 11.

MEETING: We are having a Christian Education meeting on Sunday, March 4th right after fellowship. Please join if you are interested!!

Read With Grace March 11 we will discuss Strength in What Remains, by Tracy Kidder at 7 pm at John and Linda Andersen’s. Please note this is a change in the order.

Servant Duties: There are still some openings that need to be filled for servant duties. If you would please take a look at the schedule on the table located outside of Darci’s office and see if something works for you and your families that would be great. Thanks!!
